Welcome to our school website -
please have a look around

Welcome to the Bailiffe Bridge School website. I hope you enjoy visiting our site and learning more about life at our school.

Here at Bailiffe Bridge School we pride ourselves on providing a warm and welcoming beginning to a child’s education. We consider every single one of our pupils to be special. We believe therefore, that it is important that we treat each one of our children as an individual, enabling them to make the most of the opportunities available to them.

Our children have real responsibility and ownership of our school.

Our school council – CHIC club (Children Helping In the Community) is well established and works with myself to seek ways to further improve our school.

  • CHIC club is supported by our mediation team. These children use skills of negotiation and compromise to help to diffuse playground fall outs.
  • Year 6 make excellent buddies for our Reception class children.
  • Year 6 also run lunchtime clubs, of their choice, for our younger children.
  • Year 5 support the work of the lunchtime playteam by organising and running games on the playground.

Ofsted 2007 commented:

‘The pupils are happy and well behaved because they are valued and respected by everybody around them.’

We make every effort to ensure that our children feel happy and safe in school and are taught in the way that they learn best, empowering them to reach their potential. Our children are rightly proud of Bailiffe Bridge School and I am very proud of each and every one of them.

At Bailiffe Bridge School we work as a team because…
